Wilhelmina Garcia is a jewellery brand inspired and designed in Wonderland. Founded in 2012, the brand was born from the desire to create a world of magic and escape, a place where imagination meets craftsmanship. Designed in the heart of Barcelona, every creation reflects a unique journey. From playful, whimsical pieces to refined fine jewellery in gold and ethically lab-grown diamonds, WG continues to evolve while staying true to its magical roots.
Rocio Canals, Creative Director and Founder of Wilhelmina Garcia,is a multifaceted creative who brings her artistic vision to life through the whimsical persona of Wilhelmina Garcia, a character she imagined to express her dreamlike narratives through jewelry
Her journey is rooted in a deep passion for storytelling and aesthetics. Rocio developed her artistic sensibilities through a Master's in Art Direction at Parsons School of Design in New York, and further refined her skills working as an art director in global fashion hubs, New York and Paris. Immersed in the ever-evolving fashion industry, she gained invaluable experience, but ultimately craved a value-driven creative outlet.
That shift in perspective inspired her to create a brand that aligned with her love for fantasy, femininity, and sustainability. Wilhelmina Garcia is the embodiment of that vision, a world where fairytales, magical elements, and meaningful stories come to life through jewelry. Each piece tells its own story, drawing inspiration from Rocio's travels, everyday moments, and the enchantment of the unknown.
